Schumacher began his career in karting and then switched to Formula 3. His first Grand Prix was in Belgium in 1991, where he raced for Team Jordan. Schumacher won a total of seven world championship titles and 91 Grand Prix races before retiring from active racing in 2006. In 2010, he returned to Mercedes for three years before finally retiring.
